MSVU Modern Languages student Kevin Hudon was recently named a 2025 recipient of the Prix du Consulat général de France dans les Provinces atlantiques. The award was presented on the International Day of Francophonie, a day that celebrates the French language shared by over 320 million individuals around the world.
As one of just two recipients of the prize, Kevin will experience a week-long linguistic and cultural immersion trip this summer with Francoforum, the French language institute located in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon.
Kevin is a fourth-year Bachelor of Arts student majoring in French and only the third MSVU student to win this ward in the past 11 years.
