Isabelle Nault
Isabelle Nault joined Mount Saint Vincent University as Vice-President Administration on July 10, 2023.
Isabelle is a bilingual (French-English) architect with more than 15 years of diverse experience in higher education, project management and architectural design in both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining MSVU, she served as the Associate Vice President of Operations at NSCAD University, Manager of Architecture and Design at Queen’s University in Kingston, and with Defence Construction Canada (Royal Military College). She was co-chair of both the NSCAD and Queen’s University accessibility advisory committees.
Isabelle obtained her professional degree from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Syllabus Program, holds a graduate diploma in architecture from Athabasca University, and holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from the Université de Montréal.
A strong believer in continuing education and life-long development, she also completed certificates in Workplace Mental Health Leadership (Queen’s University) and Crisis Leadership in Higher Education (Harvard Kennedy School) and is in the process of completing the Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School.
Isabelle is an active community volunteer with non-profit organizations and advisory boards, including the Halifax City Soccer Club and Halifax Search & Rescue. She is also an avid outdoor enthusiast (skiing, kayaking, scuba-diving, hiking, etc.) and plays on a women’s soccer team in the Citadel 7 A-Side League.
