Joint Master of Arts in Women & Gender Studies
The Master of Arts in Women & Gender Studies (MA WGS) is a program offered jointly by Mount Saint Vincent University and Saint Mary’s University. However, students in this program are not simultaneously enrolled at both universities. If you are a student in the MA WGS program, you will have a home institution. Find out what that means for you and for your studies.
Where should I apply?
If you are planning to apply to the MA WGS, we recommend that you complete applications at both universities. Completing both applications will give you the greatest chance at being admitted to the program, and at being offered funding. If you only apply to one university, you will only be considered for the limited number of spaces available at that institution, and for the limited number of scholarships, bursaries, and research assistant positions offered by that university.
