RESEARCH
My research interests rest in critical dietetics including critical feminist social perspectives and the study of power integrated into all aspects of dietetics education, practice, and research. I study food, eating, and nutrition issues for transgender and gender diverse people, implications of the lived experiences of eating in illness for nutrition counselling, and the history of dietetics education and diet therapy, malnutrition risk reduction in community living elders, and evaluation of nutrition services.
