Help Document Nova Scotia’s Maritime Heritage

There will be 12 categories for people to submit photos to.  These will be:

1. Vessels
2. Technology and engineering
3. Picturesque/landscape
4. Wildlife
5. Boat building
6. Recreation
7. Foraging
8. Youth
9. Women
10. African Canadian
11. Mi’kmaq
12. Relationships

1st prize of $200.00  for each category

2nd prize $100.00 for each category

Please submit your photos and permission forms to peopleofthesea@msvu.ca and BE SURE TO READ AND SIGN THE PHOTO PERMISSION FORM to accompany your submission.

All approved submissions will become part of the Archives of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic to be enjoyed by future generations of Nova Scotians.
