Annette Comeau (she/her)
Annette is the Director at the MSVU Child Study Centre. Annette is a graduate of NASCAD university with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art Education, and a bachelor of Design Communication. She has a diploma in Early Childhood Education from NSCECE in addition to her background in art education. She holds a Level 3 ECE classification in Nova Scotia with over 26 years of experience in the field. Annette believes in professional and self-development and has a particular interest in the early childhood environment.
Annette is creative, diligent and appreciative.
Elizabeth Martin (she/her)
Liz holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Capilano University and is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Study at Mount Saint Vincent University. She holds a level 2 ECE classification in Novas Scotia. She has over two decades of experience in the early childhood education field and has practiced in both British Colombia and Nova Scotia.
Liz loves reading, hiking, and beach exploring. She loves learning and trying new things. Oh, guess what? She is a vegetarian who loves cooking, eating, and trying out new yoga workouts. She loves gardening and growing veggies and flowers in her leisure time and can also be seen tending to the CSC garden during the Spring and Summer months.
How would we describe Liz? She is compassionate, hard working, and kind.
Anudeep Makker (she/her)
Anu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (Pre-primary to grade 5) and a Master of Arts in English literature. Anu holds a level 2 ECE classification in Nova Scotia and is currently finishing courses to advance to the level 3 ECE classification. Her work stems from a decade of working with children in both India and Canada.
Anu loves reading and learning new things and holds the quote by Dr Seuss “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you will go” at heart.
Anu believes in the magic of childhood!
Carly MacNaughton (She/her)
Carly has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Child & Youth Studies. She holds a level 1 ECE classification in Nova Scotia. She provides program support for the centre, and has over 16 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator. Carly loves spending time with her family and has a beautiful little girl who brings so much joy to her life and is also a student at the center.

Janelle Sampson (She/her)
Janelle has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Study from MSVU and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from NSCC. She holds a level 3 ECE classification in Nova Scotia. She has over 6 years of working in the field of early childhood education. Janelle enjoys bowling with family and likes to try new things. She loves to travel back to the Annapolis Valley in the Summer. Fun fact: you can catch her on stage performing with the theatre group called Saint Joseph Stage Prophets.
We would describe Janelle as kind, energetic and caring.
Kimberly Bradbury (She/Her)
Kimberly has a diploma in Early Childhood Education from NSCECE. She holds a level 2 ECE classification in Nova Scotia with over two decades of experience in early childhood education. She has a particular interest in finding beautiful materials for children to work with.
Kimberly loves spending time with her family during her spare time. She absolutely loves to eat, bake, kayak and go for hikes.

Stacey Dawn Elliott (She/Her)
Stacey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Studies from MSVU. She holds a level 3 ECE classification in Nova Scotia with over 23 years of ECE experience.
Stacey is a lover of the environment who enjoys walking her dogs with her partner while appreciating nature. She loves watching silly videos with her daughter and absolutely loves an evening bubble bath. Stacey’s favorite thing to with children is read books together.
