MAXQDA
MSVU has a limited user lab license for MAXQDA which is accessible for use by students and faculty in the Seton 329 computer lab.
On Campus Lab Computers:
MAXQDA is installed in Seton 329 computer lab and is limited to 16 computers. Secure access to a lab computer can be achieved remotely using the MSVU Remote Computer Access Portal from your device using your MSVU login credentials.
Faculty and Staff MSVU Computers:
A license will need to be purchased to install MAXQDA on MSVU computers, please contact the IT&S Help Desk to request a ticket for purchase information identifying application to be installed and asset number of computer.
For Windows:
Operating System: Windows 10 (64 bit), Windows 8.1 (64 bit), Windows 8 (64 bit).
Processor: 2 cores with 1.6 GHz each. Recommended: 4 or more cores, 2 GHz each. ARM processors in tablet computers are not supported.
RAM: 4 GB recommended: 8 GB or more.
Display: 1,024 x 768 or more.
License Activation: Internet connection necessary once for activation.
Microsoft Office / Microsoft .NET: The import of .doc or .odt documents require Microsoft Word 2003 or newer and .NET 3.5 or newer. (.NET is automatically installed if missing and might require a system restart).
For Mac:
Operating system: Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 or OS X El Capitan 10.11, macOS Sierra 10.13, macOS Mojave 10.14 or older macOS Sierra 10.12 (each x86-64).
Processor: 1.6 GHz or higher.
RAM: 8 GB RAM or more.
Storage: 4 GB free hard disk space.
Display: 1024*768 or higher.

The annual license is funded by the Departments of Professional Studies.
