SAS is a statistical suite of software used for data management and advanced analytics.

MSVU participates in the SAS Annual Academic Program licensing which allows access to the SAS Education Analytical Suite and Enterprise Guide to faculty and students for research and teaching.
On Campus Computer Labs:
SAS is installed in various computer labs on campus.
Secure access to a lab computer can be achieved remotely using the MSVU Remote Computer Access Portal from your device using your MSVU login credentials.
Faculty and Staff MSVU Computers:
SAS can be installed on MSVU computers, please contact the IT&S Helpdesk to request a ticket for installation identifying application to be installed and asset number of computer.
Faculty, Staff and Student Personal Computers:
Individual installation is available for activation on personal computers.
Codes are renewed on March 31st each year.
The following are recommended minimum levels for SAS 9.4 on Windows x64 systems:
- Windows 7, 8 and 10.
- Minimum of 2 cores.
- 2GB RAM (available to SAS).
- Swap space: 1.5 times physical RAM or 250 GB, whichever is less.
- Monitor – SVGA resolution of 800×600 or higher.
