IBM SPSS Statistics is a suite of advanced applications used for statistical analysis.

MSVU participates in the IBM SPSS Academic Campus Value program.  IBM SPSS and AMOS may only be used for teaching and non-commercial academic research on computers owned or leased by MSVU by degree seeking students and faculty members.  The software may also be installed on computers that are owned or leased by the students or faculty for ‘home use’.

On Campus Computer Labs:
SPSS and AMOS are installed in various computer labs on campus.
Secure access to a lab computer can be achieved remotely using the MSVU Remote Computer Access Portal from your device using your MSVU login credentials.

Faculty and Staff MSVU Computers:
SPSS and AMOS can be installed on MSVU computers, please contact the IT&S Helpdesk to request a ticket for installation identifying application to be installed and asset number of computer.

Faculty, Staff and Student Personal Computers:
Individual installation is available for activation on personal computers.
Codes are renewed on August 31st each year.

Operating system: Windows 7 (SP 1), Windows 8, Windows 10 (32-Bit-or
64-Bit-Version each)
Configuration: Processor with 2GHz or higher, 4 GB RAM or more, for 64-bit clients at least 8 GB,  4 GB free hard disk space.
Display:  1024*768 or higher

For Mac:
Operating system: Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 or OS X El Capitan 10.11 or macOS Sierra 10.13 macOS Mojave
10.14 oder macOS Sierra 10.12 (each x86-64)
Configuration:  Processor with 1,6 GHz or higher,  8 GB RAM or more,  4 GB free hard disk space.
Display: 1024*768 or higher
