MyCredsMount Saint Vincent University issues documents through the MyCreds™ platform, powered by Digitary.  MyCreds™ is owned by the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC) and can be trusted to certify and verify academic credentials. MyCreds™ is a credential wallet for post-secondary learners that has been created by Canadian higher education leadership.

The credential wallet provides you with access to view and share your digitized and portable post-secondary transcripts and credentials anytime, anywhere. Documents issued through the network are authentic, tamper-evident, and legally valid.

Official MSVU transcripts are issued via MyCreds™.  Additional MSVU academic document types will be issued through MyCreds™ in a phased approach.

MSVU students, current and former, can request an official printed transcript or an official digital transcript via MyCreds™ by filling out the Transcript Request Form. Once you have submitted the form, you will receive instructions on setting up your MyCreds™ credential wallet.

Yes. MSVU students and graduates can request an official printed transcript by filling out the Transcript Request Form.  Delivery options include MyCreds™, mail or pick up.

There is a $12.00 per share credit, paid through the MyCreds™ portal.

Transcripts issued through MyCreds™ will be issued within five (5) business days after the day of receipt, EXCEPT at the end of each term when six (6) or more business days may be required.

If you require a MyCreds™ transcript for courses taken prior to 1996, please allow for 8 business days to process your request.

Within five (5) business days of submitting your completed Transcript Request Form, you will receive an email confirmation and log in instructions.  Follow the link in the email confirmation to log into your MyCreds™ account, open your transcript and click “Share”.

You have full control over how your document is shared. There are two options for sharing:

  1. Appoint email recipients. You have the option to specify how long they can access your document and/or require each recipient to enter a PIN that you set. Watch the “share a document to a recipients’s email” video.
  2. Select the recipient from a list of post-secondary institutions registered on the MyCreds™ network. 1. Watch the “share a document to a registered organization” video

If you have shared your document in error or wish to disable access to a recipient you can modify or disable access using the Access Control screen in MyCreds™.  To do this, log into your MyCreds™ account, open your shared document and select Access control.

Once a document is issued into the MyCreds™ network, students and graduates have the ability to share their documents via MyCreds™ on demand 24/7. MyCreds™ documents are authentic, tamper-evident, and legally valid.

You will receive an email notification from MyCreds™ when the document is issued. Follow the link in the email to log in or go directly to https://learner.mycreds.ca/r/user/login

All MyCreds™ notifications for current students will be sent to your MSVU email address.

Former MSVU students who no longer have MSVU email address should indicate the email address that they prefer to use when logging into MyCreds™ on their Transcript Request Form.

The issuing institution cryptographically signs all documents to prevent tampering.   Your digital transcript in your MyCreds™ account contains legally valid digital signatures. Your documents can only be accessed by Mount Saint Vincent University, you and the institution(s) that you choose to share your documents with.

All certified documents carry a digital signature that meets legal standards.

An authentic document will always have a blue-ribbon symbol that validates the document and confirms it has not been altered after it has been downloaded. If a document has been altered or if the digital signature is not authentic, a symbol with a red cross will signify the document is not valid.
