The Mount will be closed for the holidays until January 3, but we urge you to take a virtual tour and submit your request to book a campus tour for any time after January 3, 2012.
Programs and Departments
While you’re browsing the Mount website, make sure to check out our full list of degree, certificate and diploma programs. The Mount has a broad range of courses and programs for students to choose from, including arts, sciences, and professional studies.
The Mount is home to many unique and innovative programs. Currently, the Mount is the only university in Atlantic Canada to offer Bachelor and Master degrees in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts (Child and Youth Study). We are also jointly offering the only PhD in Educational Studies in the Atlantic Region along with St. Francis Xavier University and Acadia University, and we have the only Bachelor of Science (Science Communication) program in the country.
With so many choices, there is almost certainly something for you at the Mount.
Take your classroom with you
Did you know that the Mount offers more than 200 courses a year through distance education? Classes are available to all students, whether they are local or at a distance – in fact, many on-campus students find that distance courses allow them to added flexibility their schedules. Distance courses are offered in many programs, including, but not limited to Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts (General Studies) and Child and Youth Study.
“The option of distance courses offered at the Mount has played a big role in helping me balance my school work and involvement in other areas at the school,” says Amy Seeton, a student in the Bachelor of Arts (Child and Youth Study) program.

Winter registration deadline: January 11
It’s not too late to sign up for classes at the Mount for the Winter 2012 semester, starting on January 3. The registration deadline is January 11, so take that step and join the Mount community.
