Update: 9:15 P.M. – Power restored at MSVU

Power has recently been restored to the MSVU campus and operations are returning to normal.

Saturday exams will be held as scheduled.

All exams that were cancelled this evening (Friday, April 14) have been rescheduled to next Friday evening (April 21) at the same time and in the same locations. The Registrar’s Office will contact all affected students directly to confirm.

Update: 3:20 P.M.

The power outage affecting the MSVU campus continues. Nova Scotia Power is currently estimating that power will be restored by 8 p.m. today.

Due to the continuing outage, all exams scheduled to take place on campus this evening (i.e. starting at or after 4 p.m. on Friday, April 13) are being rescheduled. Details of new dates and times for these exams will be sent directly to students from the Registrar’s Office.

Students scheduled to write online exams tonight should contact their instructors directly.

Campus remains closed, except to students with onsite exams this afternoon (which are continuing to completion as scheduled) and employees required to be on campus.

At this time, all exams scheduled for Saturday, April 15 will proceed as planned.

We will issue another update when power has been restored and campus is re-opening.
