The University Research Ethics Board (REB) and the various Departmental Research Ethics Boards at Mount Saint Vincent University adheres to the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS). In addition to the TCPS, the REB has developed additional policies, procedures and guidance documents to ensure that researchers and research conducted under the auspices of MSVU are in compliance with the TCPS and other related legislation and regulations. Researchers are asked to review  these documents as they pertain to their research. Researchers should note that depending on the location of the research or funding regulations, that additional research ethics requirements may be required. Researchers are responsible investigating additional requirements and incorporating these into their research ethics protocol.
