The University Research Ethics Board (UREB) is organized and operates in compliance with the TCPS2 – Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Human Participants.
Where applicable, the UREB also complies with:
- International Conference on Harmonization (ICHH) E6 – Good Clinical Practice (GCP),
- Part C Division 5 of the Canadian Food and Drug Regulations (Drugs for Clinical Trials Involving Human Subjects);
- FDA regulations 21 CFR parts 50 (protection of human subjects), and Part 56 (institutional review boards),
- HHS regulations 45 CFR 46 (Protection of Human Subjects).
The UREB is registered with the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP).
